TRACTOR REQUIREMENTS

The Fred BX72R requires a tractor at least 40 hp. at the PTO. Of course chipping capacity is directly related to horse power and torque, therefore with 40 hp.

SLEEK HYDRAULIC HOSE CONFIGURATION

The hydraulic hose configuration for the BX72R has been streamlined to eliminate the possibility of snagging a hose and offers a sleek new look.

SELF CONTAINED HYDRAULICS

Fred BX72R chippers are complete with a self-contained hydraulic pump and a 24L Oil tank to power the two infeed motors. Hydraulics are not required from your tractor.

VARIABLE SPEED DUAL HYDRAULIC INFEED MOTORS

Variable speed aggressive dual counter-rotating hydraulic powered infeed rollers work together to pull material into the chipper head. This feature allows the user to slow or fast the infeed speed down to accept large material.

EASY SWIVEL DISCHARGE CHUTE

360 degrees of rotation and two finger operation. We have incorporated a convenient handle that effortlessly allows you to swivel the discharge chute so that you can direct the chips into the back of a truck or trailer without having to move the entire machine. Simply push down on the handle and swing the chute. When you release the handle a spring loaded pin drops down to lock the chute into position. No tools required.
