Wood Shredder With Hydraulic In - Feeding System For 9 Inches Chipper Capacity
TRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
The Fred BX92R requires a tractor with three point hitch and at least 65 hp. at the PTO. Chipping capacity is directly related to horse power and torque, therefore with 65 hp. you can expect to chip 9 Inches. You can expect to chip any material up to 10 Inches in diameter with no trouble. In testing a 70 hp. tractor gave excellent work to fuel consumption results. Tractors with more than 50 hp. will not over power or damage the wood chipper since it is shear bolt protected, but will simply consume more fuel to accomplish the same results.
SAFETY AUTO FEED STOP BAR
Safety is paramount on Fred chippers. Located on the top of the in-feed bin, the WC-8H utilizes an easy to activate hydraulic auto-feed stop safety bar to disengage the in-feed rollers in case of an emergency, or to clear the in-feed bin if necessary. By simply pulling down on the bar, the user can stop and even reverses the direction of the in-feed rollers.
VARIABLE SPEED DUAL HYDRAULIC IN - FEED MOTORS
Variable speed aggressive dual counter-rotating hydraulic powered in-feed rollers work together to pull material into the chipper head. This feature allows the user to slow the in-feed speed down to accept large material.
The chipper with hydraulic in - feed system containts oil tank , hydraulic pump , hoses, oil control valve and control handle.
